Rick Rifici is nominated for an AACTA award for the 3rd time for his cinematography in the feature documentary Facing Monsters. He was previously nominated for Best Cinematography in a Feature Film for Drift (2013) and Breath (2018). This nomination recognises the exceptional direction and craftsmanship with which he executed the cinematography for Facing Monsters Being made with an intimate crew, the documentary enabled Rick to flex the full suite of skills he’s become internationally renowned for. In addition to Best Cinematography in a Documentary, Facing Monsters is nominated for Best Sound in a Documentary and Best Original Score in a Documentary.
